Book Review: The Universe Builders by Steve LeBel

The Universe Builders:Bernie and the Putty by Steve LeBel

I am excited for several reasons. This is my first blog of a book review (feedback encouraged) and the book is a really good read. I do have to say that the author gave me a copy of his work in exchange for an honest review. I do value honesty and integrity, so I will be putting a summary of this review on several review sites.

I enjoyed the book. It was a really entertaining and engaging read. The main character, Bernie, is especially relatable if you ever had anyone pick on you in high school and you happen to be a god. Bernie finishes school and hired by The Business to become a Builder. Along the way are little stories about Bernie and his travails to succeed in the limelight of his superstar Builder father that left the family when he was young, in the wake of the bully that torments him at every opportunity. The tales are engaging and move the story along. I won’t give any spoilers, but let’s just say, I loved the beginning, the middle and the end. Overall the book is a really good read. It’s light, fun and at times may make you think. Pick up a copy today, I think you will enjoy it. You can find Steve’s book on Amazon or visit his website here.
