#WeekendCoffeeShare

If we were having coffee, I would say that I need to grab a really large cup of coffee before I talk. It’s been a busy week at work. Several projects having issues that need to be resolved. Fortunately, things are starting to look up. I would ask if you have made progress on choosing and improving an aspect of your character.  I would tell you that I’ve been working on my patience this week especially while driving. My goal is to be aware of my yelling at other drivers and trying reduce the count. I’m down a few this week, but still have room for improvement. I wrote a blog for the #1000Speak Bully edition. It exceeded my expectations in terms of comments. It was nice to see the number of people who will stand up and stop bullying.

I would ask if you have any fun projects or plans in the works and then I would tell you about my books. The book on character still needs a good name. The outline and first few chapters are done and I plan to complete the first draft before the April A-to-Z Challenge kicks off. Did I mention I signed up for that? What was I thinking?  Any way, the character book is coming along nicely.  The second book is a work of science fiction.  I have a very rough story outline, some name ideas and maybe a chapter written on it. There is no deadline as of yet.  My plan here is to test chapters and characters in an occasional post on Down Home Thoughts or maybe on a writing blog somewhere. Not really sure.

Well I’ve finished my coffee and I need to get back to my lovely wife and enjoy the rest of our weekend.  I hope that you have a pleasant, thoughtful and bully free weekend.

Don’t forget to write your own coffee share and add it to the linky at Part Time Monster.

Me too, I’ve my whole outline done and the first week written. Just have to finish them. That is this week’s project 🙂

It’s great that you’ve signed up for the A to Z. It will be my first year this year, so although I’m nervous, I’m excited too! I’ve been working on my motivation recently. As far as character traits go, I tend to bury my head in the sand when things start to get on top of me. I’ve made great progress and am determined not to put things off, just because they are difficult! Have a lovely weekend 🙂
