Challenge Checkup

So how are we doing on our various challenges? I’m talking about the ones we set for ourselves, not the ones that just seem to pop up.  Like my challenge to improve my patience and tolerance of other drivers, which was going really well until yesterday. Someone was driving very slowly, way below the speed limit, so I thought maybe they are lost, but when I finally get a chance to pass them, I had to shout, “Stop texting and drive!”  Why do people do this?  I’m not perfect, I’ll admit that I have texted while driving, but I never type it.  I always use the voice to text option, and even that is distracting.  Overall I’ve yelled at fewer drivers, but still need work.  How are you doing on your quest for improvement?

My next big challenge is the A-to-Z challenge coming up in April, wow  that’s like next week. I have most of my posts done and scheduled!  I just need to read back through them for a final edit and maybe add a picture or two.  Then I’ve got to finish my plan to view and comment on as many of the other blogs as possible.  I think I’m ready, but being the first time to participate, only time will tell.  🙂  Have you taken up a task to push yourself?  A new blog challenge? Work at a soup kitchen? Volunteer at a charity?

The character book is coming along. I need help figuring out a plan for the #GotCharacter campaign. I want to point out people demonstrating good character and encourage them to continue being a good example.  These two things are really one.  The book will explain what is good character and how to recognize it and teach it.  It will also call for people to point out and encourage good character. This is where I will need everyone’s help. Let’s change our world for the better by insisting on good character.  Any thoughts, suggestions, marketing tips for planning and presenting this idea to the world, I’d love to hear them.  Leave a thought or two!

I never have just writing on my to do list 🙂 it’s always write X on this topic/blog/book/newsletter/etc. I found that if my to list is a little more specific that it helps a lot.
    Thanks for stopping by!

I envy your progress on the atozchallenge! I’m still in the “thinking about it” stage. Haha I think I might try to physically write from scratch everyday . Bad idea?

Being my first I don’t know. But from what I’ve read on other blogs its best to have most, if not all of your post done beforehand. That makes it easier to visit as many blogs as you can and keep up with the comments on your own 🙂 best of luck to you and thanks for dropping bu
