Summer Kick Off – Weekend Coffee Share Style

It is almost time for Summer Fun! Are you ready? Do you have plans? Pull up a chair and your favorite beverage and have a chat. I want to hear all about what you have going on this summer. Hang on while I pick up my triple extra-large mocha. Sorry, go ahead. What are your summer kick off plans? Me? Well my lovely wife and I are heading to Boston by way of Providence, Concord and Albany. That will knock three more state capitals off our list to visit. We are visiting all 50 state capitals. Here are a few of the pictures. Our Kenpo friends in Boston are hosting a karate seminar and Lobstah Boil! There will be beeah and chowdah! Get ready for a long, fun weekend. Do have trips planned? Are your checklists and maps at the ready or are you able to just yell, “Roadtrip!” and jump in the car and go? Whatever you have planned, have a great time and be safe. Be aware of your surroundings and take some time every day to just relax and have fun. You deserve it.

Various ice cream flavors

This week has been interesting. My guest blog appearance (reblog) on Sunday at Writeonsisters.com (original) caused a nice little bump in Twitter and Blog traffic. Nothing huge but noticeable. Other articles this week included an article on questions to ponder to Get Motivated and one on to do list tips for success. The topic that got me started thinking about summer kick off is on the top three ice cream flavors. What are yours?

We don’t travel for vacations or make trips. We enjoy the outdoors here locally or at home. Relax and play with friends, family or our church. We make “day trips” or extended weekend getaways to nearby locals. And we always try to avoid planning anything very far in advance. We like to roll with the flow.

Hi Barbara, Thanks for dropping by and sharing your thoughts. Everyone is different when it comes to travel. We do spur of moment things during the year and about every 2 years we plan a big trip out of the country. Visting the 50 state capitols is usually a planned activity so we can as many visits in as possible in a weekend 🙂 Have a great week!
