Common Sense and Coffee
If we were having coffee, after we got settled in and everybody had their coffee fixed just the way they wanted it, I would tell you that I’m looking for work. Advance Auto decided not to renew my contract. I am not surprised. Like many other companies, they are trying to stream line. It’s only common sense.
If anybody knows companies that are looking for business analysts, project managers, etc. both my wife and I are looking. Ideally around the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex, Nashville Tennessee and Greenville-Spartanburg, South Carolina. These are our top 3. We would consider other locations especially in the tropics 🙂
I hope everyone’s week is going well. Have you had any challenges to face? I would love to hear about them and how you dealt with it.
We decided to get away on Saturday and visit Shenandoah National Park. We had a lovely drive down Skyline Drive. It was a nice trip and yet another confirmation of “Don’t trust your GPS.” The road went from two lane lined, to no lines, to narrow, to gravel. I could hear banjos playing in the distance. We turned around and headed for main roads. Saw some pretty countryside, but decided the main roads were better for travel. Here are a few of things we saw.
