Weekend Coffee Share Moving Edition
If we were having a hot steamy beverage of your choice, I would point out that even though I said we were getting back to normal last week, well it just didn’t happen. My contract that I moved to Winston-Salem for, dried up. The good new is my office found another job for me. The bad news is we need move again. Hence the weekend coffee share moving edition. We have been packing and visiting our folks over the last week. My dad is out of the hospital and in a physical rehab facility. Progress is being made, but it’s slow. I guess I won’t heal so fast when I’m 92 either.
The Road Trip
We are ready to make the long trek down to big “D”. Yep, headed back to Texas. So I’m guessing it’s going to be a bit of challenge, especially this week, to get back to normal blogging schedule. Loading up what we need for a couple of weeks and we’ll be flying back to get the rest of it before the end of November.
First order of business when we get to Dallas will be to find an apartment or a house. We have temporary lodging, but we need a place to move all of our stuff by the end of November. C’est la vie.
I really don’t mind moving, it’s just the packing and unpacking. Oh and the finding everything that has been displaced. Which usually is every thing. Things will be a little discombobulated for a few weeks. Were they ever combobulated in the first place? Blog posts will continue to be sporadic. Hoping for a semblance of normalcy by Thanksgiving.
Well enough about my week, how was yours? I hope things are well with you and that you are not having to move. Whatever is going on, keep a good outlook and sunny disposition. It really does make things a lot easier to handle. And it also makes you easier to deal with. I’m ready for another. How about you?
Leave a thought or two below. I promise to acknowledge them eventually. Have a great week ahead and smile. It makes people wonder what you’re up to.
