Made it to day 10. Whole30 double digits! Only 20 days left, and yes I’m counting. People at work brought in the remains of “Candy-geddon.” Otherwise known as Halloween on this side of the pond. There was enough sugar in our part of the building to put a herd of elephants into a diabetic coma. Yes I resisted. I do not want to start over at Day 1 and have my lovely wife at Day 11. That would be completely unacceptable. That and she would laugh at me.

Today was much like the earlier part of the week. Breakfast was sausage and eggs. Lunch was Greek meatballs and sweet potato applesauce mash. Dinner was the amazing pork roast, which seems to get a bit spicier each day. I’m fine with that, but after tomorrow, Teri may not be able to eat it.

Whole30 double digits energy

Energy and focus are better today than last week. I can’t say that I feel much better, just enough better to notice. Whole30 talks about how most people are not going feel better until around day 15 give or take a day or two. I’m looking forward to some noticeable changes after next week. As the old saying goes, “Only time will tell.”

I guess I will just have to stay busy. Working, walking with Teri, Kenpo, travelling and blogging will fill much of the time. Oh yeah, and shopping for groceries takes more time. And there is food prep and cooking to fill any other available time.  So I’m sure before long, it will be day 30 and we get to talk about what we are going to add back into our diet first.

Like we haven’t thought about that yet! I’m thinking BREAD! Warm, fresh-baked, right out of the oven honey wheat bread.

One more thing to live for!
